If you hadn't noticed, Kuma has a thing about time.

A noted advocate for the transcendence of self, situation and time through sonic means, the Canadian producers has spent over fifteen years opening doorways and stepping through. "Buy The Tools You Need With Time" is another set of those doorways, a series of individual universes to be held in the palm of your hand. Observed from a distance, they both drift and wash. Taken close up, best you watch out for the explosions.

Over the course of ten tracks, sound is turned in upon itself. All the usual shards are there: tapes, field recordings, tiny synths and Kuma's voice. Dubbed, looped, pitched down and refracted, the voice, this most human of elements; becomes the spine on which these improvisations rest.

This is a soundtrack for all things, you just have to pick your dimension. Start here, who knows where you'll end up?
